I think I'm still coming down from the "high" generated by the planning and executing.. Cindy and Pud, I can't tell you how much I have enjoyed our marathon emails and conference calls... especially reconnecting. Kathi, Rick, Pat..thank you so much for all of the last minute contacts with classmates for info! It would not have gotten done if you had not stepped up to the plate.
PLEASE make sure you let us know if you move or have an email address we don't have. Cindy, would you forward the list you have compiled so that I can add to my group emails? Those of you that weren't able to attend.. we missed you (and probably talked about you! HA!) I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone's photos, so please download them!

I started sending this individually to those I did not email addresses for....... then realized it would be best to post it here for everyone....... so if you are getting it twice..... forgive me......

Hi all........ I went through the email addresses I found attached to one of Peggy Rudolph Clifton's mail outs and tried to find most of our classmates who have email. I also scavenged a couple of email addresses from facebook that I didn't find there. I'm sure I missed some, so if you see anyone missing from the list who you think would like to be included, please feel free to forward this......... The classmates site allows you to send email....... but I didn't find addresses posted there, so will try to send individually to those who are on the classmates site and are not included here. I really enjoyed seeing some of you again during our reunion weekend........... missed those of you who were unable to be there. I'm sorry I tend to turn into a clam in person and didn't visit as much as I would have liked with all of you....... but I'm a writer........ and as you will soon see........ it's hard for me to shut up when I am writing.......... :)

Some of us are already talking about getting together again........ more informally........ and more often. It has been suggested that we try to plan an informal gathering somewhere like Barkley Lodge or KY Dam Village each summer and just all have dinner together at the lodge or visit more individually if some would like to come and stay for a weekend some place like that. Or...... possibly......... one of us could have a cabin like Peggy did this time, and everyone could gather there one night and bring a little food and drink to share......

I know it seems soon to be planning such a thing, but I had hoped that we might begin thinking about it and see if there is enough interest to organize something like this. We could think about possible weekends that would work best and what we might like to do. Valarie Craig Shuster mentioned a Paducah event that was going on during our reunion weekend this year. She was working at the event and was unable to attend ours, but she mentioned that it might be something people would be interested in coming to, and if we were to choose the same weekend next year for our informal reunion, perhaps some would like to do both things? There are other area events that may be going on in the summer that might be fun for some of us that live farther away. We might be able to do more than one thing while there, which would make traveling there for a weekend more appealing.

If any of you has an interest in doing this next year, I hope you will reply to all and let everyone know. If you know of dates next year that would be good........ go ahead and pitch those out for consideration........ I'm not a great event planner, but I do have a heart for reunion with special people from back where my life began....... would love to see you guys more often than every 10 years.......

I am working on the slide show. There were some very good pictures taken during our reunion weekend by Cherry, Betty, Bonnye and a few that I took that I am putting at the end of the show. If any of you who were there have some good pictures, please post them at the kodak gallery site that Peggy mentioned, on Facebook or send them directly to me if you prefer, and I'll get them in there. We are still lacking a really good group photo from the Saturday night event. I'll be turning the slide show over to Robert at some point. He will be adding some of his wonderful playlist of songs of the 60's to the slide show and burning cd's of the finished show for us. This will take some time. I know you will be patient with us....... and we'll get them out to you as soon as we are able.

Did anyone get a really good group photo last Saturday night? There were a good number of people taking pictures of the group.... the one my husband took is not the best... was from one side and not everyone can be seen. I would love to have a better one for the slide show.... and would be happy to duplicate for others if wanted and if we can find a really good one. Thanks....

Hi all...... Those of you who attended the reunion know that we had a great time. It was really nice to see so many of you there. If anyone has pictures from Saturday night, I'd like to include some more good ones in the final edition of the slide show. You can post here... or on Facebook..... or on the Kodak Gallery site and I'll be able to take them for the slide show. If you do post any, please let me know so that I won't miss them. It's difficult to tell when new pictures are added here. Thanks..... I hope to see your pictures soon :)
